We’re a small Law Firm situated in the City of Roses in the Free State and we have been using Print Director for almost 5 years now. We are one of the happiest law firms in South Africa with this software. It is very convenient to use and a great way to save money. We are currently using the software for our printer and it helps a lot to determine how many prints and copies are made in a month, and helps to perform correct billing for clients. Print Director is an excellent financial tool whereby we can monitor who is printing what and the cost thereof. We have many separate entities within our business and each person has a specific building/project they are working on. We are able to allocate printing to each specific job, which then gets charged for. I also enjoy the drilling down facility when selecting reports. I can select via devise, department and user. I am able to pull any report at a click of a finger. The system is extremely efficient. We have saved money by advising staff to use certain printers based on needs by looking at each report. An excellent product and I highly recommend it!

Print Director is an effective printer management tool and its detailed monthly reporting assists our Finance team in expense allocation per department in terms of printer usage. We have been using BlueSwift’s Print Director since February 2015 and it has enabled us to allocate printing to specific project/job numbers in order for us to have a record of those costs. As we can now keep track of printing costs and we’re able to monitor printing it has also minimized unnecessary printing. We have been very happy with the quick response whenever we’ve had any queries or have needed something changed on our system. As everything is done remotely it means there is no interruption to our day to day operation or any delay in response.

This affordable package allows print jobs to be stored and printed on demand by a multitude of users via the pin code system. A business requirement in setting a standard ecological footprint was raised with IT to investigate alternative solutions across all platforms which could lead to cost saving in the near future. Amongst others, one major concern was highlighted on the amount of paper and printer waste each area of this business produced. Functionalities implemented were account tracking and print tracking, reports and secure print release. Our company has been using Blue Swift software for the past 2 years. We started off using it on our printers, then integrated it into our telephone system. Very easy to operate, very easy to navigate and very user friendly. Reporting side of system is brilliant, various reporting options, diagrams and plenty of exporting options are given. A masterpiece software that delivers great results across several key areas of our business.

Print director has made a huge difference in managing our costs and lowering them substantially. The weekly and monthly reports have assisted us in identifying abusers and problem areas.
